Status

The holy month is here – NOT a good thing for the not-so-religious me. It isn’t too bad though, especially since I have the best working hours ever for a whole month! 9am to 3pm… Yay! Seven fasts down, many more to go. Buzz is making an effort to go to the mosque as often as possible.

The weekend is going to be a very interesting one! Got to go to the South this weekend for Mallu’s engagement function. Bought him a very expensive Cuban – hope he enjoys it! Thank god the charity go-karting event is postponed to November; I would have absolutely died of thirst on Saturday. Sunday... well who knows?!?!?

Update: Twenty-something views, four repeat views, one offer, zero counter-offers and maybe a reoffer next week!

Search

The search for a ‘perfect’ home starts all over again…. only this time it’s not for me, but Eagle! Granted he has a much bigger budget than I did, but he is also a lot pickier… and NO it’s not fun. I am a commission-free dedicated estate agent (sole agent to the boss) on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Even Twf was visibly surprised when Eagle called on Sunday morning asking if we could go viewing. Honestly, I half expected him to call!

We've seen fourteen houses/clusters in three days... Viewed one of them twice... Fingers crossed!

I’ve got to write a case study for the new treasury guide on the SA property market which is due at the end of the month unless I can twist the editor’s arm to give me an extension. Haven’t done any research yet… maybe I can get Snap to help me out with access to an online database or some journals. I wonder if he has accessed/used a single journal himself… kids these days… all they do is google-copy-paste…. Ohh wait, I used to do the same!!! HAHAHA… Don’t you just love plagiarism?!?!?!

Time to surf on…. nothing to plagiarise on this nonsensical blog!

Visitors

I hate having visitors that I invite stay over… What I hate more, is that they pack up and leave after a couple of days!!! You have a full-house one day and an empty one the next; it’s depressing :-( and totally my fault… I invite everyone to stay over when they rock-up and complain when they have to go!

Had a great Sunday with Twf and Sen. We spent the day visiting some of the caves and mines I hadn’t been to before in Cradle of Humankind and ended with a delicious dinner at Bukhara.

P.S. You are all welcome to stay over at mine…. Unless you are actually coming to Johannesburg, then you are NOT.
